Depending on the service you choose, your initial consultation will be up to $99. This includes a 20 minute appointment with an AHPRA-registered Holistica doctor. If, during this consultation, your doctor determines that Holistica treatments are not suitable for your needs, we’ll issue a refund.
Follow-up consultations are priced at $69. During these sessions, your doctor will review your progress, make adjustments to your treatment-plan and ensure its effectiveness.
Yes, you can! To make a booking without a Medicare card, you will need to provide your Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) number. This is a unique number that we use to identify you for healthcare purposes.
To obtain your IHI, log onto your myGov account. If you don’t have a myGov account, you can create an account on the myGov website. If you cannot apply online, use the “Request an Individual Healthcare Identifier” form. This is a paper-based method that requires you to provide acceptable identity documents and may take longer to process.

You do not need a referral to see a Holistica Doctor. Before booking your first consultation with us, we will ask you to complete our pre-screening form to hel inform your doctor of your eligibility for our services.
The patient must be a minimum age of 18 years to avail alternative therapy and weight loss services.
For all other GP services, there is no minimum age.
You can cancel appointments by responding to your confirmation text, contacting us via phone call or using the AutoMed patient app/online portal.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur the full fee. Refunds may be considered at the doctor’s discretion. This policy ensures fairness to all patients and allows us to manage our schedule efficiently.
Alternative therapy prescriptions typically last for 6 months, depending on the type of medication you are prescribed. These prescriptions can also come with a certain number of repeats. If your prescription expires before you use the repeats, you will no longer be able to use them.
Weight loss therapy prescriptions typically last for 12 months, depending on the type of medication you are prescribed. These prescriptions can also come with a certain number of repeats. If your prescription expires before you use the repeats, you will no longer be able to use them.

Holistica Health has partnered with experienced pharmacies that can manage your care, holistically. Our partner pharmacies will deliver, Australia-wide.
If you’d prefer to collect your medications from a pharmacy of your choice, please let your doctor know during the consultation so that we can arrange for your pharmacy to receive your prescription, for a one-off cost of $100 per pharmacy.
Some Online GP services can be bulk billed such as mental health consults and sexual health consults. Make sure you speak to a Holistica Health Care Professional to know what services can be bulk billed
Depending on your private health insurance, some or all of the costs for your treatment may be covered. Please make sure you check your insurance coverage before making a claim, as some of Australia’s major health insurers still don’t offer coverage for some of Holistica Health’s services.

Holistica’s Weight-loss treatments do not require patients to follow a strict diet, as the treatments help control your hunger and you are likely to make more healthy food choices. We do, however, strongly recommend making healthy improvements to your diet and lifestyle to see long-term results.
All medical treatments come with a risk of side effects. Side effects with Holistica’s weight-loss treatments are usually temporary and can be reduced and managed with some lifestyle changes. Side effects include reflux, headaches, constipation, vomiting, fatigue and irritation to the injection site. While these side effects are not ideal, they are quite common and normal among patients using these kinds of treatments.

You can request a prescription by booking with Holistica Health. Your Holistica Doctor will review your request and conduct a telehealth consultation to determine whether a prescription is right for you. If suitable, your electronic prescription will be sent to your pharmacy for dispensing.
